Global Positioning System (GPS) is a network of satellites that transmit information your Xensr Air uses to pinpoint your location. Receiving good quality GPS information improves the quality of your data and in turn the value of your Xensr device.
Sometimes it can be hard for your Xensr Air to receive information from GPS satellites. To ensure the best possible motion tracking GPS data, we recommend the following:
- Before you begin recording, make sure your device has locked onto GPS signal (all four lights blinking once per second).
- While waiting for GPS lock, try not to move your device around, and make sure it has an unobstructed view of the sky.
- Always mount your device on top of your equipment, facing upward toward the sky, with as few obstructions as possible.
